In July of 2021, Cana Rescue Centre was able to conduct a training of 25 reformed village circumcisors on harmful effects of FGM where they handed over their tools of trade to the Rescue Centre Director and Assistance County Commissioner Mondi Division. Cana took some time to offer these reformed circumcisors some knowledge on how to start alternative sources of income to meet their livelihood needs.
